Expansion at GxP Systems Requires Move to Larger Facility

To accommodate our continuing expansion, the company has relocated its corporate headquarters to a new, larger facility in Cork.

“With our rapid growth to more than double our workforce since last May, we needed a larger office to house and meet the needs of additional corporate employees and consultants we hired, and plan to continue hiring,” says General Manager Linda Mellerick. “Not only is our new facility larger, it is more centrally located for both our customers and employees.”

Our Graduate Recruitment Program encompasses cross training and will runs over a three year period, with a view to long term commitment from both sides.

Unlike other companies, we offer the opportunity to train side by side with some of the best engineers inIreland. Graduates will be placed alongside our existing teams on our client sites where they will learn all aspects of GxP Systems’ business. After a 6 month mentoring period by our own experts, our graduates will be working in hands on capacity on our current projects with full support of their mentors.

By year two graduates will have responsibility for their own projects, and by year three they will be working to the same level as our Level 1 Engineers.

GxP Systems MD is Eye Witness to Twister Phenomenon in Ballycotton, Co.Cork.

After returning from a business venture in Ohio, GxP Systems Managing Director Conor Wall returned home to Ireland to find himself in the direct path of a freak twister in Ballycotton, Co.Cork.

Conor had already had one close encounter as he and his colleagues had touched down in Cleveland,Ohio on Wednesday to discuss about a large Validation Project.

On their arrival they were greeted with a Tornado warning and then narrowly missed Hurricane Irene on their way home.

With the help of their travel agent they had to change flights and travel cross country via Montreal so they could return safely.

Certainly the last thing Conor expected was to be within metres of a twister back on Irish soil.

Ireland, believe it or not, has had twisters and tornados in the past and the first ever known documented tornado in Europe occurred in Rosdalla on April 30^th 1054.

However they are very rare occurrences and Conor had managed to capture the moment on video which can be viewed on http://www.rte.ie/news/2011/0829/ballycotton.html

During an interview with Conor Wall on the Morning Ireland show on Ireland’s RTE Radio one, the host did comment that they would like to see his future travel plans to see if they can narrow down where the next one might appear.
